OLX is an internet company based in New York, Buenos Aires, Beijing, and Sao Paulo. The OLX website hosts free user-generated classified advertisements for urban communities around the world and provides discussion forums sorted by various topics. OLX gained prominence upon announcing a partnership with Friendster, the popular social networking website. The story was covered by dozens of media publications, including the New York Times, and was a topic of debate among bloggers. The company was co-founded in March 2006 by Internet entrepreneurs Fabrice Grinda and Alec Oxenford. Fabrice previously founded Zingy, a mobile ringtones company that sold to For-Side for $80 million in May 2004. Alec previously founded DeRemate, a leading online auction website in Latin America. DeRemate sold to MercadoLibre.com, an eBay affiliate, in November 2005. Alec is also a member of the World Economic Forum's List of Young Global Leaders.
As of June 2011, OLX is available in more than 90 countries and over 40 languages.

About Fabrice Grinda
As a business and Internet entrepreneur,
Fabrice has successfully transposed and adapted business ideas between
the U.S., Europe, Asia and Latin America.
In March of 2006, Fabrice co-founded OLX,
Inc. with business partner Alec Oxenford, in the hopes of building the
largest free local classified site in the world. As co-founder and
co-CEO, Fabrice drives the company’s business development, oversees an
organization of over 80 employees and negotiates acquisitions with
global partners.
Prior to OLX,
Fabrice was the founder and CEO of Zingy Inc., which he built into one
of the largest wireless media companies in the Americas while
successfully closing deals with some of the top wireless providers in
the world. Within four years, Fabrice successfully grew the business to
$200 million in content sales before selling the business in 2004 for
$80 million.
In 1998, Fabrice co-founded Aucland S.A., one of
the top three auction sites in Europe. In just over a year, Aucland S.A.
launched in five countries and grew to 750,000 registered users.
In addition to these achievements, Fabrice worked
as a business consultant for McKinsey & Company, where he conducted
financial and economic analysis for large financial institutions.
Fabrice graduated Summa Cum Laude from Princeton
University and was awarded the Halbert White prize, given to the most
distinguished economics student, as well as The Wolfe Balleisen memorial
prize, awarded for best thesis.

About Alec Oxenford
Alec
Oxenford is a serial entrepreneur focused on the Internet Space. Alec
has launched and led multiple Internet businesses primarily targeting
the Latin American Market.
In March of 2006, Alec co-founded OLX,
Inc. with business partner Fabrice Grinda, in the hopes of building the
largest free local classified site in the world. As co-founder and
co-CEO, Alec manages the company’s Buenos Aires office where the
technology and customer service teams are based, oversees an
organization of over 100 employees and participates in M&A
activities in Asia and Europe. 
Prior to OLX,
Alec was the founder and CEO of DeRemate.com, Inc, which he built into
one of the two largest online trading platforms in Latin America.
Within 6 years, Alec successfully grew the business to over $150 million
in gross sales, 5 million registered users and 1.5 million annual
transactions, before selling the business in 2005 to an eBay affiliate.
In 2003, Alec co-founded DineroMail S.A., a leading payment platform in Latin America.
In addition to these achievements, Alec worked as a business consultant for The Boston Consulting where he advised top management of leading companies in Europe and Latin America on market strategy and organizational effectiveness.
Alec participates in numerous NGO Boards and was elected Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.

About Amarjit Batra
Amarjit Batra is a Sales & Marketing professional focused in
the Internet space. Amarjit has successfully launched and grown Internet
businesses in the C2C, B2C and B2B domains in India region.
Amarjit joined the OLX team in Dec 2008 to take over the
responsibility to build and grow the India business for OLX. As the
Country Manager for OLX India, Amarjit leads the category development
efforts, executes marketing programs to create brand awareness and
improve user engagement, build strategic partnerships and formulate
strategies for driving growth. As a senior member of the OLX team,
Amarjit also contributes to the Global Business Development
initiatives for OLX and reports to both Fabrice Grinda and Alec
Oxenford, Co- CEO and Co-Founders of OLX, Inc.
Prior to OLX, Amarjit was at eBay India, where he was heading the New
Business and Global Trade business and was a part of the India
Management team. In a 5 ½ year stint at eBay (and erstwhile Baazee),
Amarjit has handled many roles in Category Management, Strategic
partnerships, New Business, Rural Initiatives and Ad Sales.
Before eBay, Amarjit has done Business Consulting for Procurement
Auction and B2B auctions businesses handling leadership and Business
Development responsibilities with reputed corporate clients across
India. As a common thread across his experience in the Internet,
Amarjit has specialized in making markets online more efficient.
Amarjit is an MBA from University Business School (UBS), Punjab
University, Chandigarh and an Industrial Engineer. Amarjit is also

About Rodrigo Ribeirão
Rodrigo Ribeirão has been a leader in global eCommerce as the manager of operations in Brazil and Portugal for OLX – the largest free classifieds site in the world, present in more than 90 countries and available in 40 languages. Together, Brazilian and Portuguese operations represent the largest operations of the OLX group.
At the age of 32, OLX’s country manager in Brazil and in Portugal has the mission of consolidating the leadership in each portal and make then market references in Portugal and Brazil’s eCommerce industries. Thus, Rodrigo Ribeirão manages all of the company’s strategies in both countries as part of his quest for success.
Rodrigo Ribeirão started at OLX in October of 2009 whe he accepted the invitation from the founders Fabrice Grinda and Alec Oxenford. Initially, he was trusted with the company’s Brazilian operations. After achieving great success, in June of 2010 (less than a year), the young executive was also named country manager for OLX Portugal.
Prior to working with the largest free classifieds site in the world, Rodrigo Ribeirão was part of one of Latin America’s most important site, MercadoLivre. As part of this respected company between May of 2006 and October of 2009, he was responsible for online marketing campaigns and for the creation of the company’s retention marketing strategy in Brazil.
Before working with eCommerce, between May of 2002 and May of 2006, Rodrigo Ribeirão was the director of operations for the Brazilian relationship marketing company, Service Plux. His first professional experience was at Denison Brasil, an Ogilvy & Mather company – WPP Group.
Graduated in Business Administration with a focus in information systems at the Faculdade de Informática e Administração Paulista (FIAP), Rodrigo Ribeirão has an MBA in Marketing from the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. With his exemplary conduct and expertise, the young executive also speaks at workshops and lectures about the internet marketing in Brazil. He also participates in forums and events promoted by organization in the sector.
About Diana Moldavsky
Diana Moldavsky is an experienced Internet business executive. Miss Moldavsky is a Director of Russia and CIS at OLX, a global and localized online free classifieds player, a Naspers company. Diana joined OLX and launched the business in Russia in 2007. Under Diana's leadership OLX became one of the classifieds' leaders in Russia.
Prior to OLX Diana was at Yandex, where she was a senior manager responsible for strategic advertising sales and business development.
Before moving back to Moscow in 2004, Diana worked for several IT/Internet companies in Silicon Valley, including Google in Mountain view where she was focusing on premium advertising accounts.
Diana holds an MBA degree from Duke University Fuqua School of Business and a B.Sc. in Commerce degree from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business.
She is also a Duke Alumni Club Russia co-chair, a founding member of the annual Global Technology Symposium in Palo Alto, CA and a mentor to many early stage internet start ups.
